The free event, which took place between 1pm and 4pm, featured two teams of eight dancers kitted in One Piece gear, who showcased their dance moves in front of a panel of judges.
They were judged on two categories of dance: hip-hop and popping. A live DJ provided the music for the branded event, and the winner received a One Piece gift set. The event was organised in partnership with entertainment company PDK Entertainment.
One Piece currently rents a pop-up retail space at Boxpark, the brand's first UK retail presence which it cites as a place to introduce new products, concepts, launches and events for consumers, press and bloggers.
Boxpark will host another fitness event this week (25-31 August), featuring online sportswear company Fashercise. To promote its new pop-up store in the Shoreditch retail space, customers and press will be able to join in a series of free unique workouts on the upper deck of Boxpark.
