On Tuesday (18 February) celebrity A-listers including Kylie Minogue, Pharrell Williams, Emma Watson and Katy Perry turned out for the Elle Style Awards 2014. Organised by Blonstein Creative Production, the venue was transformed into a 1960's Parisian-themed supper club and guests enjoyed a meal prepared and served by Cellar Society.
The venue then hosted a Brits after-show party, created by private members club Soho House on behalf of Universal Music the following evening (19 February).
DJ Jazzie B warmed the crowd up before Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding and Lorde took to the decks for a surprise DJ set. Jessie J, Daisy Lowe, Emeli Sande, Rizzle Kicks and Dougie Poynter were all in attendance.
One Embankment was decorated with low-level lighting and vintage furniture, split across two levels. Guests were served bespoke Bacardi cocktails made by some of London’s best bartenders, and canapés provided by Soho House were also served and included mini dirty burgers.
Andrew Morrow, head of events at One Events, said: "After a few months of refurbishment we were delighted to host these two incredible events and raise the curtain of One Embankment in such great style."
One Embankment will play host to Private Drama’s Feasting with Panthers annual industry showcase next Wednesday (26 February).
The venue officially launches on 1 March.
