The activation was designed to show visitors how the wetland berry is harvested. Adrienne Mollor, a farmer-owner for Ocean Spray, waded through the cranberries and answered questions from attendees.
In addition to the floating garden located on the venue’s Long Water, Ocean Spray also featured a garden recreating the New England home of the cranberry co-operative, in partnership with designer Charlotte Murrell.
Alongside the botanical installations, the company launched a large-scale sampling campaign for its product range across the site. Celebrity chef Sophie Grigson also provided cranberry-themed cookery classes at Hampton Court Palace’s cookery theatre.
Tara Levine, managing director EMEA of Ocean Spray international services, said: "We are delighted to have found a UK stage to bring the spectacle of our cranberry harvest to life. We showcased cranberry cultivation and the care and attention our farmers give to the crop so we can deliver the best tasting products to our consumers."
