The bar specialises in whisky, with more than 60 varieties available by the dram. Diageo has helped to curate the bar's offering, and as such it showcases a range of the company’s brands, including Johnnie Walker, Haig Club and Buchanan’s.
These form the basis of cocktails, and some bottles are also available to purchase at retail price to take home.
The drinks menu includes cocktails such as a Salted Caramel Rusty Nail served with Lagavulin fudge, and the Boulevardier, which is teamed with a side of Campari candy floss. Those looking to get into the Christmas spirit can opt for an egg nog themed concoction known as Tom & Jerry.
The venue also serves a range of Scottish-inspired brunch dishes and a menu of small plates at night, including a breakfast dish with black pudding, stews and burger sliders.
The bar is The Hedonist Project’s first permanent site. It will remain open throughout the winter months, and will be transformed into a spring-themed venue in March.
Daniel Crowther, Tom Finnon and Bruce Lerman are the three Leeds-based bartenders behind The Hedonist Project. They launched the seasonal, rotating bar concept in the spring with Hoygarth’s Gin Joint, followed by the Rum Shack over the summer.
