The event, entitled the Watch Art Grand Exhibition, will be hosted at the Saatchi Gallery in southwest London, which is managed by GSP Venues.

The exhibition will celebrate the brand’s tradition of high-precision watch manufacturing and provide an insight into its 175-year history and heritage in high-end watchmaking. It will be free to the public to visit from 27 May to 7 June.

More than 400 timepieces will be on display for guests to view over two floors. The initial project was comprised of 12 rooms, however it has since expanded to include more than 15 themed areas.

These include the immersion room, created to inspire and immerse visitors into the world of Patek Philippe; the museum room, which houses historical timepieces spanning the last five centuries; and the Napoleon room, which is designed to transport guests to the Patek Philippe Salon on the Rue du Rhone, Geneva.

Mark Hearn, managing director for Patek Philippe UK, said: "We are bringing so many historical timepieces to the exhibition that visitors will be able to learn about horology generally, the history of watchmaking and also find out interesting information about this fascinating industry, which is not only composed of watchmaking but also rare handcrafts techniques."
