Sky TV customers are being offered exclusive access to Game of Thrones: The Exhibition on 9-12 February and 15-17 February. The experience was launched to celebrate the forthcoming fifth season of the popular show and its arrival as a TV Box Set on Sky and Now TV.
Around 70 artifacts from the TV show are available to view, while an -powered virtual experience will let visitors ascend ‘The Wall’. There is also a chance for fans to sit in the almighty Iron Throne and experience what it’s like to rule the Seven Kingdoms, and insert themselves directly into seminal scenes through facial recognition technology and CGI.
Agencies Publicis London, Poke and PBJS have collaborated to create a digital companion to the exhibition. Using the technology, fans will be able to pledge their allegiance to their favourite Game of Thrones house and receive exclusive content direct from the show’s characters.
Don Lee, PBJS’ chief executive, said: "Game of Thrones is a cultural phenomenon, and PBJS is thrilled to be the experiential agency chosen by HBO to bring the fifth season of the show to life in an immersive, worldwide tour. This exhibition will bring fans into the universe of the show like never before."
Nick Farnhill, chief executive of Poke, added: "As the number one most talked about show across social media, the addition of the digital companion spreads the experience to a far wider dedicated fan base and allows everyone to take a part in some of the show’s most shocking scenes."
