Designed to cheer people up on Blue Monday, the creation features pink water, and it emits the fragrance found in Bloo’s range of bathroom care products each time it is flushed.
Passers-by are being invited to pen a note detailing their own ‘Monday blue’ and symbolically 'flush it away' in the oversized toilet. Those who take part will be in with a chance to win prizes designed to cheer them up, including a £1,000 holiday voucher.
A blues band will also be on hand throughout the day, meanwhile brand ambassadors are handing out flowers complete with a Bloo branded tag that reads 'Happy #BlooMonday' at London’s Liverpool Street and Farringdon Underground stations.
Mel Billows, marketing controller at Bloo, Jeyes and Easy, said: "On what has come to be known as Blue Monday – said to be the most miserable day of the year – we are aiming to put a smile on people’s faces and in some small way cheer up those who may be feeling the Monday blues.
"Bloo is all about delivering bursts of happiness in the bathroom through beautiful fragrance and colour so it seemed only natural for us to do something positive today."
