The entire venue is exclusive to AWE, with seminars taking place in every room including the David Lean Room, the Princess Anne Theatre, the Run Run Shaw and the Foyer Bar.
The Princess Anne Theatre is hosting a series of events called The Agenda Stage. One featured the infamous Frank Abagnale – his life was depicted by Leonardo di Caprio in the film Catch Me If You Can.
Over the four-day event, delegates have listened to talks from the likes of Trevor Beattie on the death of the 30 second ad, to Lord Sebastian Coe on the challenges and opportunities faced by Brazil as it plans for Rio 2016.
The festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary by visiting Europe for the first time.
Brands including Google, Spotify, Facebook and Yahoo have held seminars on the most pertinent topics affecting the industry today.
Theresa McInerney, Bafta’s account manager, said: "Bafta 195 Piccadilly is already established as one of London’s most glamorous events spaces. We’re delighted to welcome Advertising Week Europe to London for the very first time, and are thrilled to have been chosen as one of the lead venues for such a prestigious festival."
Other London venues holding special events for AWE include Ronnie Scott's jazz club, Scala and St Paul's Cathedral.
