In pictures: Aca Live creates Cointreau pop-up bar for LFW fashionistas

Event production company Aca Live was selected by drinks brand Cointreau to deliver an exclusive pop-up Privé bar coinciding with London Fashion Week.

The bar, which launched on 11 September and is open until Sunday (22 September), is located at the Light Bar St Martin’s Lane and has been designed by Dublin-born fashion designer Simone Rocha.

The task forms part of her role as the first recipient of the Elle Cointreau bursary - a partnership between Elle UK and Cointreau created to support emerging designers. The bar incorporates Rocha's indoor rose garden theme with hand-painted rose motifs adorning the walls, while vintage crystal glassware, mismatched vases and fresh flowers have been used to decorate the space.

The agency was responsible for the overall execution of the pop-up including venue sourcing, brokering and management, consumer registration, microsite design and build, décor and design implementation.

On the launch night (11 September), the pop-up bar welcomed 125 guests including a number of famous faces. Made in Chelsea’s Louise Thompson, Lydia Bright from The Only Way Is Essex, and Scottish international Rugby Union player, Thom Evans, were among the celebrity guests.

Food served at the launch event included Cointreau and soy-glazed shrimp on a lotus crisp, chilled sea bass with a lobster and Cointreau broth, blue swimmer crab salad with a Cointreau dressing on blinis, and a goat cheese and vegetable tart.

Six Cointreau cocktails were served during the evening including a signature Cointreau Fizz with freshly squeezed lime juice, sparkling soda water and garnished with a lime wedge, as well as a Cointreaupolitan featuring lemon and cranberry juices shaken and strained into a chilled martini glass and garnished with orange zest.

Concept Furniture supplied bespoke furniture, Project Audio provided DJ equipment and White light installed lighting for the pop-up bar.
