The contract will include a campaign running across all channels in nine markets worldwide.

The wine and spirits group awarded the contract following a series of presentations at its Malibu-Kahlua International offices in New York.  The account was previously held by New York-based Droga 5.

Pernod Ricard also announced it is consolidating the MKI Brands, Malibu and Kahlua, into The Absolut Company, in Stockholm.

Last week, the company handed its Plymouth Gin account to Publicis. The agency has been tasked with repositioning the brand and creating a fresh ad strategy for the range.
