People’s Bank, the US credit card giant, is set to launch a major
customer recruitment drive after handing its pounds 5m account to direct
marketing agency TDA (formerly The Direct Agency).
The agency’s brief will include developing the bank’s e-commerce
strategy and is expected to launch a major online push to support an
on-going direct mail campaign.
TDA won the business following a pitch against Tullo Marshall Warren and
Barrington Johnson Lorains & Partners. The account was handled by Masius
(formerly DMB&B Financial) before the review, which started in March
(Marketing, March 23).
