Partnering with Event and One Mayfair will be the caterer Create, which will be providing breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks during the day. In the evening the firm will produce special canapes and cocktails to help celebrate Event's birthday.
Happening just weeks after the Olympics has finished The Guide Live Winter '12 will create meetings for delegates - who are brand event directors and agencies - with event venues and suppliers.
Delegates will also get the opportunity to attend a number of seminars and keynotes on the pertinent industry topics.
These will include keynotes from two Olympic sponsors talking about their event activity during the Games focusing on what worked, what didn't, what sort of legacy if any it has left for the brands, how important events are to brands as a result of the Olympics and what sort of return they received from utilising events at the Games.
There will also be a panel session on the growing importance of events to media agencies, and how they are now working from the top table of the marketing mix.
