The deal means that the Daily Telegraph will have exclusive pre-match rights to the rugby player's thoughts on upcoming games, recollections from retired players, and a series of online "pub-cast" interviews.
The Daily Telegraph will run pull-out supplements and online features to coincide with next month's England international fixtures.
The player columns will be backed by Telegraph sports writers Mick Cleary and Paul Ackford.
Graeme Adams, business director at OMD UK, said: "This project is unique in the fact that the brand, editorial team and media agency teams have all worked together on this from its inception."
The full list of rugby players is Johnson, Leonard, Thompson, Andy Farrell, Jamie Noon, Pat Sanderson and Mark Cueto.
England's next match is against the New Zealand All Blacks on November 5.
