
Around one million football tickets were sold before they came off-sale in February, and with approximately 1.5 million still to be purchased.
Tickets start from £20 and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until 6 May.
Locog said it has tested its ticketing systems this month in preparation for the upcoming sales, after several ticketing problems.

Locog has confirmed that buying a football ticket during this sale will not affect eligibility for future ticket sales.
The football tournament takes place at six venues around the UK: Hampden Park in Glasgow, Old Trafford in Manchester, Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, St James’ Park in Newcastle, City of Coventry Stadium and Wembley Stadium in London.
The remaining tickets for other Olympic sports will go on sale in May.
