O2 has released the second instalment in its "be more dog" campaign to promote the Refresh tariff. The spot, by VCCP, features the same cat character introduced in the first ad, again voiced by the Mighty Boosh star Julian Barratt. It opens on the cat lamenting how the things he wanted were always off limits, such as cakes and goldfish. However, since he started behaving more like a dog, he has found that everything is within his grasp – a fact illustrated by the cat diving into a pool of water and catching a tennis ball. The actor Sean Bean provides a voiceover at the end of the ad. It was written by Nathaniel White and Sam Whigham, art directed by Ben Ducker and directed by Keith Schofield through Caviar. Media was handled by ZenithOptimedia.
