O2 has released a smartphone app featuring the cat from its "be more dog" spot. The app, by Lida, allows users to type in a question and select a "dog" or "cat" response. The dog answer will be enthusiastic, while the cat response will be more misanthropic. Users can share their answers on social media. The app is designed to support the above-the-line campaign by VCCP and, like the TV ad, features the voice of Julian Barratt. It was written by Mike Poole and art directed by Alan Mackie.
