
The marque had been set to roll out first in April, and then in July, but reports claim the launch date has been put back due to the difficult economic climate.
Japanese car manufacturer Nissan first announced plans to bring Infiniti to Europe at last year's Geneva Motor Show. The luxury marque has already been on sale in the US since 1989.
Nissan has signed up two unnamed Middle Eastern partners to help it launch a boutique-style dealership network, and its flagship showroom in Reading, Berkshire, is currently under construction. The manufacturer aims to have 14 dealerships operational by August.
