
David Pemsel, deputy chief executive of Guardian News & Media, said: "March marked another milestone for the Guardian, with traffic hitting a record 127 million monthly unique browsers, including off-platform traffic.
"It's great to see that our award-winning journalism continues to find new audiences, and that when significant world events happen people turn to the Guardian for its trusted and intelligent reporting."
Market leader MailOnline saw daily traffic drop from a record month in February, down from 14.7m million unique browsers to 14m per day, but posted 220 million monthly uniques.
Meanwhile, Mirror Online's continues to make strong gains too, with more than 50 per cent growth year on year.
