The venue, called Kiwi House, will be open from 25 July - 13 August at One Granary Square in the Central Saint Martins building.

Kiwi House will take over the building's Lethaby Gallery and a 100sqm outside space where a New Zealand-style barbeque will be served.

It will be open to the public as well as athletes and officials from the New Zealand Olympic Committee.

The Kiwi House event programme will be run by Lily and Piper, a London-based events agency that is les than a year old and secured the venue three weeks ago.

Live entertainment will run throughout the Games, and there will be evening functions and parties for the opening and closing Olympic ceremonies.

The house will also offer New Zealand-style food, headed up by a top New Zealand chef, and drinks including specially-imported Moa beer.

Kiwi House is looking for partners to support its event programme and more details of tickets, entertainment and food will be released soon.
