Agency Lily & Piper is organising the House
It revealed that internationally renowned London-based New Zealand chef Peter Gordon will be the inspiration for the catering and will design a classic New Zealand-style barbeque in conjunction with BaxterStorey caterers.
The menu will also feature the flat white coffee from New Zealand café Allpress Espresso, and Hildon Water will supply water.
The barbeque will be set up in a 100sqm outside area with wooden crates for seating and menus and sauces served in wooden boxes. The outside will be decorated with New Zealand plants like sedge and kuri-kuri.
The inside of the building will feature large blackboard panels where visitors can leave notes or doodles or brand messages can be placed. Landscape artwork from New Zealand will also be on display.
A black-and-white themed bar will feature a large blackboard for singage and menus.
Entry to the house will be ticketed as the capacity is 500. New Zealand athletes will visit the house lunchtimes and in the evenings visitors can enjoy entertainment from Kiwi acts including stand-up Jarred Christmas, singer Hollie Smith and musician Tim Walker, son of Olympian John Walker.
Opening and closing parties for the Olympics will be held and Kiwi House will also be the only venue in the UK to air the New Zealand Olympic broadcast from Sky.
Tickets are now on sale, priced from £5 per day.
