Mother New York is behind a short documentary film made to tell the story of New York painters who have devoted their lives to the hand-painted advertising industry.
The film chronicles the dying craft of hand-painted advertising. Shot over two months, ‘Up There' tells the stories of the New York painters who are struggling to keep this advertising method alive.
During the film the painters' work on Stella Artois' ad campaign titled 'The Ritual Project'.
