What’s it got? The 18th Century townhouse has just been made available to hire for events and is part of the Fleming Collection – a group of Mayfair galleries showcasing a variety of Scottish art. It can hold up to 300 guests for a reception or 110 guests for a dinner and features original interiors including grand fireplaces, a sweeping staircase and black and white marble flooring.
Anything else? The building was originally designed as the London palace for the Bishop of Ely, and was also home to the Albemarle Club whose members included artists and authors such as Oscar Wilde.
