Launching this week, the will cover news from the film world and updates from events such as Cannes, Venice and Sundance.
It also features more than 15,000 archived film reviews from more than 30 years of the Time Out Film Guide. The company says that it is the only UK website to combine detailed listings, taken from the weekly Time Out London magazine, with independent critics' reviews.
Chris Tilly, former news editor of the film magazine Hot Dog, has been hired as the site's editor, working with the existing Time Out film team.
David Calhoun, film editor of Time Out, said: "The new site and the magazine will work together closely to provide unrivalled coverage of the cinema in London and the latest movements in the film industry across the world."
The subscription area will be offered as another incentive for subscribers to Time Out magazine. The site launch coincides with the publication of the of the Time Out Film Guide.
