New campaign: BT Home Hub

BT is launching a TV campaign for its Home Hub broadband product that hints at the break-up of its on-screen family, which features actors Kris Marshall and Esther Hall.

The campaign, which is also running across press, outdoor media, direct marketing and online, breaks on 19 July. The ads show Adam, played by My Family star Marshall, moving out of the family home to take up a job in Cornwall, thus putting his relationship with Jane, played by Hall, under strain. Adam is later seen struggling to talk to Jane over an instant messaging system online via a non-BT router. The ads end ambiguously when his wireless signal cuts out.
