The brand's programme will be managed by Manchester-based event company Definitive Events, who also managed New Balance's programmes at the Beijing Games in 2008 and Athens in 2004.

Kevin Tripp, senior manager of integrated channel marketing at New Balance said: "New Balance and Definitive Events had very specific requirements when it came to organising a venue for our corporate entertaining during the 2012 Olympics. Altitude London, with its fabulous views and elegant and distinctive offering, ticked all the boxes and more."

Peter Kerwood, marketing director at Altitude London, added: "We are delighted to welcome New Balance to Altitude 360º in 2012. We are certain that they will have a most successful Olympic Games."
