Nestle to stop buying milk from Mugabe-owned Zimbabwe dairy

LONDON - Nestle has announced that it will cease buying milk from a Zimbabwean dairy controlled by Robert Mugabe's wife

The Gushungo Dairy Estate sells up to one million litres of milk a year to Nestle Zimbabwe's plant, provoking outrage in Britain and South Africa with calls for a consumer boycott of the firm.

Although Grace Mugabe is subject to EU and US sanctions, as a Swiss company Nestle was not obliged to comply with them.

However, has announced that it would cease purchasing milk from her dairy on Sunday.
