Simon Harper, founder, said: "Festival tickets differ from usual gig tickets, aside from the fact that each event has multiple tickets for different criteria; day, weekend, camping, age -- they're also sold differently.
"Certain festivals have specific arrangements with ticket agents while others choose to sell the tickets themselves off their own web sites.
"Trying to combine all these factors into the Needtickets search service wasn't providing the optimum solution to our users, hence the launch of a bespoke Festival channel.
"Now our users can click on to and remove the stress of buying a festival ticket, by seeing all their options at a glance."
The tickets on the Needtickets festival guide are sold at their original price plus a standard booking fee and postal charges.
