Initially known as The Shed, event organisers will be able to hire out the venue on London’s South Bank between 15 September until 28 February 2015.
The Temporary Theatre opened in April 2013 to provide a third home for the National Theatre during the Cottesloe Theatre’s closure for redevelopment.
The space, which features steel, plywood and red rough timber cladding on its exterior, will be able to host product launches, photo shoots, conferences, drinks receptions or seated dinners. It can accommodate 200 standing, 70 for dinners and 185 delegates for a conference.
Charley Taylor-Smith, head of hospitality events and commercial business development at the National Theatre, said: "The National Theatre’s corporate entertaining offering continues to go from strength to strength. The Temporary Theatre will give us the opportunity to offer event organisers an exciting, limited edition chance to be associated with the National Theatre’s latest award-winning space."
