Background
Starting her career working for a ski company, Taylor-Smith has now clocked up eight years in the event and hospitality industry. She began working for the National Theatre as an events manager in 2009, before moving to Best Parties Ever/Tapenade, where she ran two Christmas sites with up to 1,500 guests per night.
In 2012, she returned to the National Theatre with a remit to look after three operational event managers and three event supervisors, as well as a sales manager and sales executive.
Achievements in 2013
In November, Taylor-Smith was elected as the chair of London venue consortium South Bank Venues, and will lead it for the next two years. She was also a judge for the 2013 Event Awards, in the Caterer of the Year and Rising Star categories.
