National Indoor Arena searches for naming-rights partner

LONDON - The National Indoor Arena in Birmingham has begun its search for a naming-rights partner.

National Indoor Arena searches for naming-rights partner

‘Naming rights to The NIA presents a rare opportunity for a brand to interact with a passionate audience as it experiences once in a lifetime world class events,' said Richard Spencer, sponsorship and partnership manager at NEC.

‘The right brand would receive a phenomenal level of media exposure throughout the UK and Europe, closely associating itself with the live entertainment experience.'

NEC Group has also appointed Robert Langley, Lydia Ellis and Kirsten Palmer-Jeffery as marketing communications managers.

The newly created positions will be responsible for shaping marketing and communications strategies for NEC's various business areas.

The indoor arena, part of the NEC, has a capacity of 13,000 and has featured performances from bands such as Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys.

It also plays host to sporting events, including indoor athletics. Earlier this year, the NEC Arena was rebranded as the LG Arena as part of the £30m refurbishment.
