She received the least number of public votes last night and had to leave the camp.
Despite being the first to go in a public vote, she is already the third celeb to leave this year, with Natalie Appleton and Brian Harvey having already walked out of the series.
Sorrell's husband Reeves, who was briefly made favourite to win after his surprise entrance into the jungle, received the second lowest number of votes in the viewer poll. Bookmaker William Hill now has Reeves at odds of 9/1 to win, placing him behind Paul Burrell, Janet Street-Porter and Joe Pasquale, who remains clear favourite with odds of 4/9.
Sorrell and Reeves were the first couple to compete in 'I'm a Celebrity', and are reported to have been paid £150,000 for taking part.
Last night, viewers were treated to the sight of singer Sheila Ferguson taking over the bushtucker trial that was meant to be completed by Appleton, who had walked after hearing she had been selected for the fifth time by the public.
Former All Saint Appleton will be feeling glad she walked, after seeing the Three Degrees singer rolling around in the swamp.
Ferguson started out strongly in the task, which involved crawling around in a swamp with rats. However, she opted out after collecting six of the nine stars, when a crocodile was released into the swamp. With odds of 40/1, Ferguson is the bookies' least favourite to win the series.
Other highlights from yesterday's programme included Street-Porter telling Burrell to leave the cooking alone because he was more used to serving food than preparing it. Burrell later revealed in the Bush Telegraph, where contestants can speak direct to camera, that he was, in fact, a trained chef.
