MySpace ties up with Warner Bros to promote 'Superbad' follow-up

LONDON - MySpace has teamed up with Warner Brothers Pictures to host a private screening of comedy 'Observe and Report', to which MySpace members can win tickets.

'Observe and Report' hits UK cinemas on Friday and is directed by 'Superbad' actor Jody Hill.

MySpace has created a . It carries content including the film's trailer and exclusive clips.

The preview screening is being held in London this evening. Competition winners will also be invited to the event's after-party.

The deal was brokered by PHD in the UK, which worked alongside MySpace to produce the content.

Nick Reid, head of UK sales at MySpace, said: "'Observe and Report' is an important new release for Warner Bros Pictures, so they wanted to generate as much buzz and excitement as possible in advance of the film's launch,

"MySpace can offer brands the unique opportunity of creating a campaign which successfully reaches an audience both on and offline."

The film stars Seth Rogen, Anna Faris and Ray Liotta. It is about a manic depressive security guard who works in a shopping mall plagued by a flasher.
