Earwig TV currently features profiles on 11 hotly tipped acts for 2008, including The Duke Spirit, Operator Please, Milburn and One Night Only, as well as live footage and interviews with showcased artists.
News Corporation-owned MySpace said potential Earwig TV acts needed to be recommended by the website's own talent searchers; artists and music of any genre signed and unsigned would be considered.
The launch of the site is being supported by an ad campaign across the online music press and on the MySpace site.
Earwig TV follows the rolling out of a similar music venture for MySpace, Transmission, a programme that allows musicians to choose a studio to perform and sell videos at their own designated price. The service launched earlier this month.
Dom Cook, marketing and content director at MySpace UK, said: "Earwig TV is a place where music fans can discover new talent and be the first to hear about the acts of tomorrow."
Cook added that Earwig TV had chosen the 11 currently featured acts, "because they're all creating a buzz at the moment as well as being prolific on the live scene in the last year."
