MTV rolls out Jackassworld website globally

LONDON - MTV Networks, Paramount Digital Entertainment and Dickhouse Productions are launching Jackassworld.com today as a single global destination for all Jackass content, including the 'Jackass 2.5' movie.

The site, which has already launched in the US, will be rolled out in the UK, Italy and Spain today. It will then debut region by region in eight other territories: Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands and Nordic.

The launch of the site follows the , which includes uncut stunts, special features and the making of the movie.

Jackassworld will be available in more than 30 languages and is designed to be a place where fans can unite as well as interact with the Jackass cast and crew.

It will feature all three seasons of the 'Jackass' and 'Wildboyz' series, new programming with the cast, editorial features, webisodes, new footage and contests.

The site will also feature mobile applications, games and a Jackass take on emerging new-media and social-networking technologies.
