Martin, who was the winner of the Rising Star accolade at the Event Awards 2014, worked her way up the ranks at Ampersand to become event sales manager. In her new role, she will be tasked with supporting the continued development of the company by liaising with venues, corporate clients and agencies.

Martin entered the industry in 2011 as sales and events co-ordinator at Ampersand after a brush with events as managing director of Bristol University’s fashion, music and dance charity show, Fuze.

Gail Heron, director of sales and marketing at Moving Venue, said: "We’re delighted to have Chloe on board. She has made a real impression in the industry in a very short amount of time and I know she will be a real asset to the team as we head into 2015."

Martin added: "I’m excited to start the next chapter of my career at Moving Venue. They have a great reputation within the industry for creativity and an enviable list of unique venues where they cater.

"I'm looking forward to helping drive the business forward and creating some fantastic events."
