Knight joins next month from Reed Travel Exhibitions in New York where we has worked for seven years, latterly as project director on the organiser’s AIBTM meetings industry show.
Before that he worked at Visit Britain in the business travel team.
The inaugural Meetings Show UK is taking place in July 2013 at Olympia. It will be a market place and professional education resource for the UK meetings industry.
Andrew Evans, managing director of Centaur Exhibitions, says: "We are creating a show run by meeting professionals, for meeting professionals and the appointment of Steve is a perfect illustration of this. He brings with him a wealth of experience plus the credibility and respect he has built in his 15 years of involvement in this industry."
