Mothercare inks Turner pre-school deal

LONDON - Mothercare is using TV to promote its brand for the first time in years, with a new tie-up with Turner Broadcasting's pre-school channel Cartoonito.

Mothercare inks Turner pre-school deal

The campaign will launch on 19 October.

Mothercare's brand ambassador Myleene Klass, who created the Baby K range, has created a film with a group of mums singing The Sound of Music song ‘My Favourite Things'.

500,000 DVD copies of the song will be distributed to playgroups and nurseries.

The content will be used in TV ads and social media sites including Mumsnet to drive mums and kids to the Cartoonito channel and Mothercare stores.

Turner will use the partnership to promote its ‘Go and...' series of programmes aimed at kids up to six years old.
