The Lutterworth-based company will integrate with Mobile Promotions from today (20 January) helping to grow its overseas incentive travel side of the business for 2014.

As part of the move Paul Taylor, owner of Lloyd Paul Events, will join the Mobile Promotions team as events director.

Robin Carlisle, managing director of Mobile Promotions, told Event no redundancies would be made as part of the process and Taylor and two other members of staff from Lloyd Paul Events would be joining the company, which currently employs just under 30 members of staff.

"Paul has great experience within the conference and incentive travel sector," he added. "The combination of the two businesses is an exciting venture as we work together to grow both the experiential and corporate side of our operations, delivering true benefits for clients."

Taylor added: "When you meet the Mobile Promotions team you are instantly struck by the passion they exude for their clients, which is something that we very much have in common.

"We pride ourselves on the bespoke and personal service that we provide to customers, acting as an extension of their own team and look forward to carrying on and growing this approach as Mobile Promotions."

Carlisle revealed Mobile Promotions had performed well during 2013, reporting £4m in turnover and taking on two summer operative staff members who have since become permanent employees.

Company plans for 2014 include a new sales team, which Mobile Promotions trialled for three months between October and December 2013 on a small portion of the business. It will now extend its remit to cover the entire business.

Mobile Promotions will also be investing heavily in data management and will be further developing its own delegate registration system, which launched last November.
