Mirror Group bolsters ad team with new recruits

LONDON - Mirror Group Advertising has poached Keith Yonish from IPC and Clare Gledhill (pictured on right) from News Group in a strengthening of its advertising team.

Gledhill, who worked at News Group for around 12 years, leaves her job as head of magazines to take up the same role at Mirror Group. Meanwhile, Yonish, former director of creative solutions at IPC, has been appointed head of the innovations team at Mirror Group.
Yonish has around 18 years’ experience in creative selling and will lead a team of sales people and designers to produce creative solutions across the company’s entire media portfolio.
Gledhill will be responsible for the revenues of Mirror Group’s five magazines – We Love Telly!, Celebs on Sunday, Take It Easy, Saturday! Plus and Seven Days.
Meanwhile, Caroline Kildare-Morgan has been promoted internally to take the position of retail group head.
Kildare-Morgan, who started her media career as a TV weather presenter in Liverpool, will be responsible for all major retail accounts. Both she and Gledhill will report to Mirror Group’s head of trading, Andy Whelan, while Yonish will report to Mark Field, head of business development.
David Emin, director of advertising at Mirror Group, said: “Over the past 12 months, we have come a long way and now boast some of the best talent the UK advertising market has to offer. We have achieved this by both internal and external appointments.”
