
Having replied to the invitation and chosen the theme via social media, partygoers will then be asked to choose the entertainment and food by means of a survey.
Guests can follow the thread on Twitter using the hashtag #Itsyourparty, where latest updates on the polls will be tweeted.
Michael Aldridge, general manager at Merlin Events, said the party is "a must for event organisers" to see the power of social media in a real setting. "It’s time to shake things up a bit, give people the experience they really want."
Aldridge is also looking for organisers who have never been to Madame Tussauds or last went when they were young. He said: "All will be revealed through our social media channels but anyone who hasn’t been and likes surprises should get in touch with Big Wednesday PR."
