The agreement represents the first long-term partnership between the supplier and the international industry event, after Melville sponsored GES in 2010 and 2011 on an annual basis.
GES managing director Trevor Foley said Melville added "real value" to the summit and would be contributing to its agenda.
Meville chief executive Nick Marshall told Event: "We see GES as a really valuable platform so we wanted to make sure we have a long-term relationship with Trevor and the summit. It pulls together some of the key decision makers in the world in terms of exhibitions. We’re expanding globally so it provides us with an opportunity to showcase our services to potential new clients and to make new relationships which are important for growing the business."
Melville will present a strategy session at GES and other plans will be made public closer to the event. Marshall said: "Trevor’s quite keen that it’s about networking and relationship-building, it’s not about getting up on a stage and just doing a sales presentation."
GES is organised by Tfconnect and took place .
It recently announced plans to expand into Russia by in January 2012.
