At the same time, Jess Williams has been named as deputy managing director.
The move follows the departure of Andy Westlake, who is leaving the group to work as consultancy director at the specialist sports marketing company, Sports Resource Group.
Clark was previously director of sport, responsible for all sports-related sponsorship business, while Williams was media sponsorship manager, responsible for all broadcast sponsorship and youth marketing projects.
Both will continue to report to Fiona McAnena, CEO of Mediaedge:CIA. She said: "They are extremely talented individuals with an impressive track record of delivering creative and effective sponsorship solutions to our clients. Jeremy's work in particular with Norwich Union and Jess' work with a host of Mediaedge:CIA clients has been critical in our development."
Clark joined Total Sponsorship two years ago, and was previously at Michael Humphreys & Partners, where he worked with the RFU, Texaco (on the Texaco Trophy) and the Rugby World Cup of 1999. Williams worked in the sponsorship and promotions team at Emap Radio before joining Total Sponsorship three years' ago.
