Nick Mazur has been appointed deputy chief executive of the Periodical Publishers Association.
Mazur left the PPA in 1997. Since then, he has been marketing director of a computer software company and director of editorial and publisher training at Communication Skills Europe.
鈥淢azur played a key part in building the new PPA during the early part of the Nineties and demonstrated a range of skills including strong leadership qualities,鈥 sais PPA chief executive Ian Locks.
鈥淎mong the major challenges currently faced by the PPA is the need to develop a leading trade body in the dot.com environment as this becomes an ever-increasing key activity for publishers,鈥 he added.
