Mason Zimbler promotes Sloly to creative director

LONDON - Below-the-line agency Mason Zimbler has promoted digital director David Sloly to the role of creative director.

Sloly joined Mason Zimbler in 2006 as digital director and used his background in content development, multi-channel knowledge and broadcast expertise to help the agency to develop its digital presence.

In his role as creative director, Sloly will lead the creative team and front the work of clients including Microsoft, Toshiba, SAS, EMC, Computacenter, Sybase and Freemove.

Sloly began his career at the BBC, where he trained in broadcast journalism and went on to launch numerous shows for BBC Radio One.

He has also launched shows for Emap, Heart, Virgin Radio, Choice FM, Ministry of Sound, Galaxy, and won a Gold Sony award and a Mobo for his work on Kiss 100's breakfast show.

Sloly said: "My initial step across from broadcasting to agency was a big one to make. That said, helping Mason Zimbler carve out its digital presence in a competitive market has been an extremely rewarding challenge (and one of my most enjoyable).

"I’m very proud to be taking the role of creative director within such an innovative agency, whose talented creative team is going from strength to strength."
