DDB's latest campaign for the Unilever spread takes the form of a mock election contested by The Love Party and The Hate Party, which are encouraging people to vote for them on Facebook.
The parties released the 30-second ads detailing their manifestos today (31 March) on YouTube, Marmitenewsnetwork.com, and their own Facebook pages.
The Hate Party leader Steve Heaving uses his time to call for the introduction of designated Marmite eating zones, taking the spread out of the workplace and schools. He goes on to argue for sending all Marmite eaters to Guernsey.
MindShare has planned and bought the media for the campaign across TV, press, radio and online. Print ads first appeared in Stylist today and will be in Shortlist tomorrow.
