Marks & Spencer ends 90-day returns policy

LONDON - Marks & Spencer has scrapped its 90-day 'no quibbles' returns policy, reducing it to a 35-day time limit.

The move was quietly introduced in April but consumer groups have now lined-up to criticise the retailer's decision. Which?  has described the 90-day policy as one of the reasons why had become a ‘much-loved brand'.

In its defence, M&S said that it had reviewed the policy in line with the market and that as most retailers offered a 28-day return window, it was still the best on the high street.
