Marie Claire expands fashion and advertising team

LONDON - Marie Claire, IPC SouthBank's flagship women's glossy, has appointed Katie Molloy and Sally Whitworth to its fashion and advertising team.

Molloy has been promoted to the role of UK fashion and retail manager, with Whitworth taking the position of international fashion manager.

Molloy has been with Marie Claire for five years and has been international fashion manager since 2003, taking an active role in expanding the international fashion business. 

Whitworth, who has been with the magazine for three years, has been performing in an acting international fashion manager role for the last 11 months and has now taken up the position on a permanent basis.

Molloy and Whitworth will report to Nicole Mathers, advertising director at Marie Claire

Mathers said: "These are exciting times for the Marie Claire brand and with both Katie and Sally leading our fashion charge, I am confident that we will have the market covered. Client service is paramount and with our heightened 'passion for fashion' and a full and committed team in place, we have the strong foundations needed for success."

Richard Johnstone, marie Claire publishing director, said: "These appointments illustrate how important we value the development of our ongoing relationships within this sector. It also coincides with our soon to be unveiled plans to develop Marie Claire's editorial fashion content."
