Mail Marketing scoops English Heritage data contract

LONDON - Mail Marketing has beaten stiff competition to win a six-figure contract with English Heritage, the public body responsible for protecting and promoting the historic environment.

The direct marketing specialist won the three-year contract with an option of a two-year extension.

English Heritage appointed Mail Marketing, which has offices in Glasgow and Nottingham, after a competitive pitch against a number of rivals.

Mail Marketing will receive and convert data from the English Heritage members' database to enable the fulfillment of membership packs.

The Government body has a database of more than 500,000 members and says it needs a "forward thinking company with relevant experience and that would provide a fast and effective service".

Jan Morris, group sales and marketing director of Mail Marketing, said: "English heritage is a fantastic organisation to be working with. Its keen foresight for technology and the development of its members' database means that we can offer them one of the very best services in the industry."
