Lufthansa promotes online booking with Profero ads

LONDON - Profero has created an online campaign for the German national airline, Lufthansa, promoting its online booking system and the price of its flights to its target audience.

The Profero campaign is the third in Lufthansa's ePush strategy and supports an outdoor campaign from McCann Erickson.

The five-week Flash skyscraper and banner ads aim to illustrate the campaign message as well as highlight Lufthansa's flight destinations across Europe.

Profero has acted as Lufthansa's full-service online agency, producing all the online creative as well as media planning, buying and tracking. The ads will run on the associated websites for The Guardian, The Telegraph and Time Out.

Cara Grant, Lufthansa's marketing communications manager, said: "With the airline sector starting to experience growth again, online is proving to be a more important channel for the business. It is a great time for us to build brand awareness and drive sales and online is a very effective method to achieve this."
