Lucci had been managing partner and creative director at agency Re-creative Team, which he co-founded in 2005. Its clients included mobile brand Vertu, Samsung, PC World, BMW and Three.

In his new role Lucci will oversee the day-to-day duties of GyroHSR's London-based creative department.

Virgin Atlantic, Sony, Nuffield Health, T-Mobile and London Business School are among GyroHSR's client base.

The agency, which appointed Christoph Becker as chief creative officer in June, is also seeking an executive creative director for London.

Over the next 12 months GyroHSR says it plans to increase its creative, digital and planning departments by 50%.
